Formerly a sleepy fishing village, Nerja is well known for its fresh fish. There are a variety of eateries to choose from, whether you prefer traditionally prepared paella on the beach or tapas in one of the many restaurants. Many cafés also open for breakfast and it is particularly pleasant to enjoy the scenic views over coffee at this time of day.
